“The Three Pointer” in basketball is a shot scored anywhere outside the 3-point arc. This particular shot can be an absolute game – changer in competitive basketball. This interactive gospel leaflet challenges the reader to: 1. Admit their need, 2. Believe on Jesus and 3. Call on the name of the Lord. Readers can also scan the QR code and watch an online Youtube video where the good news about Christ is explained.
As people pass by our team we encourage them to “Shoot a hoop” “Win a lolly” (and they receive a “Three Pointer” leaflet) – this style of engagement works really well and everyone who takes part are obliged to take a gospel leaflet. We often have good conversations that naturally lead to spiritual discussion and a gospel presentation.
Other props you will need for this method to work: 1 sturdy basketball hoop, couple of basketballs and a tub of lollies.
